CARTES completes installation of a third high-end label machine at Albagrafica specializing in pasta packaging cartons and labels for wine, spirits, chocolate.
CARTES announces the completion of the installation at customer Albagrafica of the third machine dedicated to the production of high-end labels.
This investment strengthens a long-standing partnership and further enhances Albagrafica’s production capacity, with the aim of increasing quality, flexibility, and speed of execution in response to a market that is increasingly focused on aesthetic performance and premium finishes.
The new installation is a GT368SSSF_HFSR, configured for highly complex premium production, with equipment designed to enhance special processes and embellishments: four high-performance screen printing units; two flexo units, one hot-foil stamping unit and a semi-rotary die-cutting.
This configuration allows Albagrafica to further expand the range of e ects and finishes available, supporting production for sectors where the label is a key element of recognition and positioning, such as wine, sparkling wines, spirits, chocolate, and other food products.
High quality, flexibility, and speed are the keywords that have distinguished Albagrafica for years. The company produces labels with great attention to detail and artisanal care, combining technical expertise and aesthetic sensitivity to create communication tools capable of conveying, within just a few centimeters, the identity and value of the product.
From consulting and label concept development to graphic design and full production, Albagrafica works across the entire process with an approach also focused on cost saving, seeking e icient solutions without compromising final quality.
Since 1960
Founded in 1960 by Armando Bordino, Albagrafica began as a company specializing in pasta packaging cartons and soon shifted to producing labels for wine, sparkling wines, spirits, chocolate, and other food products. With decades of experience in the manufacture of gummed paper, it was also the first company in Italy to introduce dry embossing on labels.
In 2006, in response to growing volumes, the company moved to its current facility in Guarene (CUNEO), investing in technologies for offset printing of self-adhesive labels on rolls, increasingly requested by the market. Today, Albagrafica serves both national and international customers and continues its development path also thanks to the generational transition from Luigi Saglietti to his nephews Matteo and Luca, bringing a young, dynamic drive toward innovation.
With the installation of the GT368SSSF_HFSR, CARTES and Albagrafica reaffirm a shared vision focused on quality and continuous technological evolution, delivering to the market top-level labels that combine visual impact, performance, and production reliability.
