Tau 330 UV Inkjet Printer System with a higher productivity and operating efficiency than Toner Technologies installs at Albea to digitilize their laminate tube print production.
Durst, the industrial inkjet specialist is installing the successful Tau 330 UV Printer System at Albea Americas Inc. The full-service provider of beauty- and personal care products, Albea, has been faced with decreasing batch sizes and subsequent increasing cost pressure for some time now. The solution for printing on laminate tubes, was to introduce a new production technology, which provides flexibility, as well as economic efficiency regardless of the batch size. The choice between Toner Technologies and digital UV Inkjet Print, followed an evaluation process of extensive test runs and product sampling. Albea’s decision for the Durst Tau 330 was reached on the basis of its higher productivity, its large color spectrum which covers 90% of the Pantone color scale, its highly opaque White in the Single-Pass Mode and an excellent ink adhesion even without any special finishing treatment.
The Low-Migration UV Ink System, which is available exclusively for the Tau 330, meets the stringent criteria for printing on primary packaging.

Nel 2020 pubblica Il Segreto dei Dieci Laghi (DiMarsico Libri Editore), un romanzo ambientato sulle Ande, dedicato alla cultura Inca e all’alfabeto dei nodi.
Nel 2021, in self-publishing, esce I Cavalieri Astrali, scritto con Stefano Gatti (Stegat), una raccolta di quattro racconti iperdeterministici con un intermezzo quantistico curato da un professore universitario di fisica quantistica.
Nel 2022 pubblica Un cerchio di stelle, basato sul diario di viaggio scritto nel 1960 durante un’avventura in autostop alla scoperta dell’Europa nascente.
Nell’aprile 2024, per De Ferrari Editore, esce I Briganti del Vigoleno, una fiaba per adulti o un racconto per ragazzi, scritto a quattro mani con Wilma Coero Borga.
Nel tempo libero alterna la lettura al trekking e al gioco degli scacchi di cui è istruttore di primo grado.
